  Here some information that has helped me greatly with creating the diorama setting of my H0 layout.
  It is also helping in the design of the sawmill / logging diorama under construction.

the old model railroader trick of cutting a 1" square in a 5" x 7" fild card and looking through it to reduce peripheral interference works prety good, too
