Great stuff, thanks for sharing. I can look through these old catalogs for hours. I am curious about the "traversers" (Page 22). What is the purpose of these? Are they just for carrying extreme loads at a low center of gravity?

Edit to add: I think I understand now that I have had a couple sips of coffee and am looking closer. I did not realize that there were actually tracks on top of the car frame to allow for transverse crossing . Quite the specialized piece of equipment.
