Whilest seeking a better "mousetrap" for applying glue to battons I happened upon these glue bottles.
They are available from leevalley dot com. The smallest tip is .015" (I.D.) and wood glue will just make it through. The second smallest is .025" and the wood glue goes easly through this.
I will likely thin it a bit and use the smaller. Havent tried the larger two.

The second pic is glue spreaders, seemed like a neat idea and for the price I couldnt resist.
Same vendor has both. Im sure they are also availble somewhere else.....
