I've heard of fishing with grenades ... but shooting down trees with a tank seems a bit lazy!  :D

  Pages 8,9 &10  Issue 17 of the Timber Times is all about logging with Shermans .

  Anyway , if they were Americans shooting at the trees , they would miss ! Ha , ha .

I have a certain penchant for the Russian made Zis-5 and modeled them in a few dozen configurations. This one pressed into civilian rail service in Spain. And the Deuce and 1/2 below saw a few torches.

There was a show on history channel called axemen that featured a Yarder made from a Sherman as well, just can't find an pic right away. Pat
