Wow, great job on that giant hand! Almost makes that cart look like a model!    ;)

Most satisfactory and a beautiful compliment to the boxcar. -- Russ

A great accessory for the boxcar, and has been said - nice joints!

Allan G

Great. Are those through dado joints? ...Allan

Nice job on the handcart. You need to add the back legs to protect the end of the handles.
Also the joints need to be pined or a couple of tie-rods from side to side on the top and bottom.

Here's a front and back photo of my three handcarts.

Yea I think I will pin them.
I saw lots of examples without the back legs and kind of like them without.
I guess yours have seen lots of loads of bricks!
I wondered if you masons ever took the easy way of moving bricks!
Now I I know!

Thank you!

Marty, that type of handcart is not a masonry tool. a mason would use a flat rack wheelbarrow. we also use a two wheel cart that would pic up a band of brick around 100 at a time, or a band of around 20 block.

Marty, very nice indeed at first glance I thought the picture was of the full size unit.
