This is a new/current prioject of Per's over on the MIG forum......scale is 1/35.

Hello

A new project in the beginning stage. The BR52 has always been on my "to do list" but I have always thought the size of the dam.. thing is to big! Then I found a picture of a BR50 in an exreme position and doing the Trumpeter lok in this position will save me a lot of space!
The full size of the kit is 88 cm, in this position I get away with a total base of 25x45 cm!
Anyway I will not copy the picture 100% but will use it as a reference.
Have also started to scratch build a fuel tank wagon using the wheels and frame from a Dragon kit. Also got the Big ED etch set (thanks Jindra  ) who will come in handy.
Well, its stillin an early stage but I hope you get the idea....

Cheers

An update on Pers progress....Just beautiful work in my opinion.

Well, the painting has started, the fuel tank wagon is finished. The wagon is mostly scratcbuild using some parts from a Dragon kit.

Cheers

The last photo, showing part of the groundwork, is the one that does it for me. I've done time working on trackwork at preservation sites and he's got the colour and texture of the sleepers ('ties' in Americish) and rails absolutely spot on. Not many railway modellers manage that....
