Hi guys, I am new in here, I hope I put this topic to right column
I saw some pretty nice builds in 1:35. The topics are very extensive but worth looking and you can find there some nice tips and techniques. If you need some translation, let me know. BTW: These are not my builds!

Hey Jindra! ...great to see you posting here.

Those are some great links....thanks...will have to translate the pages so I can really read through everything...some great scratch-building techniques to be learned.

Welcome aboard! You do great work. I've seen some of those links before -- very inspiring! I especially like the way you replicate the textures of the real parts, including dents, welds, etc.

Welcome to the forum Jindra and thanks for posting the links... some inspiring work there. Do you also model in 1:35?

Yeah well, sensitive case... ;) My modelling is for 4 years close to none, I am editor of modelling magazine, 5 years old boys twins, so you can imagine...
I used to build armour in 1:35 and 1:48, now I am only able to make tests of new kits for the mag (fast builds without paint - fit, historical accuracy etc.), collect kits (I am realy good at it! ;D) and start new projects (Marc R. knows what I am talking about  ;) ).

The texture... as far as I know it was done according to technique by Paul Budzik; see here http://paulbudzik.com/tools-techniques/Cast%20Texture/creating-cast-texture.html

Jindra builds beautiful models....well.....as he notes, used to ;) ;D......on the other hand he still publishes a very nice modeling mag.
