The pegasus sculptures are beautiful, and to have created two of them so alike, in mirror image, is astounding!

Hello dear friends,
I had some troubles with my health so I had no possibility to continue on Sovereign a lot. I only finished some details on the hull. During summer I hope I will continue and make more.
Thank you all for your kind words and compliments, I am really very honored and appreciate it a lot!

My sincere thanks belong to Captain KL., who helps me all the time and gives advices, how to make the model in a high level of historical credibility. Without this cooperation I would not build Sovereign in this quality.
His great background research about SoS is available here and I am really honored I can cooperate with this specialist

There are used only paper or wooden parts on the model and of course modeling clay for sculptures.
Here are some newer pics of the model, I started to make a crew for Sovereign and other more difficult sculptures.

Four anchors for SoS are finished and placed on the model. There will be placed another (the biggest) anchor on portside before finishing the model. Sovereign of the seas had five anchors in total.
I also finished first cannon "demi-culverin drake" . I´ll have to make other 33 simillar cannons, but many of them will be smaller.

Here are some newest photos:

My first "demi-culverin drake" from paper:

I have just made red stripes in handrails to achieve more realistic appearance of the warship:

On the decorative label there is not only the name of the ship but you can find here also both names of people who cooperate on this scratchbuild.
