First congratulations for your work, looks fantastic and I can believe the time spending on construction in this kind of boat
Remembered me, one of my first model 25 years ago, also sovereign of the seas : 1/180 from Airfix I believe, can't remenber,
and so far away from your model. Hope you have more determination than me to finish it, with masts, etc... mine is waiting for a long time something that he 'll never receive

Maybe I will try one day to take part in an exhibition. This really will be a very exciting experience.
Chris: Very nice model, thank you for these beautiful pics, I like them very much. I also have this kit from Airfix finished, but it doesn´t look as nice as your model. I had no experience with building and especially painting of plastic models at that time.
But now I suppose the result of paper Sos will be better and of course more detailed.

How I continue now? I have already finished almost all decorations on the port and now I am decorating the starboard. Only lower part is missing.

Those models are to precious to keep in a home. They belong in a museum or art gallery with protection against fire, flood, earthquake, weather, war, and theft. -- Russ

Hello everybody! Thank you very much for your kind compliments, I am very honored and appreciate your words a lot!
Unfortunately not, but I would like to visit England a lot.

Wow, this would be a great honor for me, but there are a lot of things on my models, which need improvement. Meantime I keep all my models in a special room, where they are protected against damage.

I continue making decorations, I finished most of them on both sides of the hull. I also created better letters on label for this model, the letters were first made from modeling clay, but I wasn´t satisfied. My friend from Slovakia gave me a very interesting motive and I realized it. The letters are now from paper and painted by gold colour. At the sides of the label I created two statues of Pegasus. This was quite difficult, because I had to reach perfect similar look of them and mirror symmetry.
Now I am making railing, I use for it wooden listels for high stiffness.
