I like the choices of prototypes he does. Some very nice metalworking here!

Wow, great models and very interesting prototypes... especially the street sweeper and the streamlined tanker truck. Never knew such a thing existed.

Seeing this pictures from building a bentley  by Gerald A. Wingrove here and here, my eyes getting wide and my mouth getting wider and wider. On the following chinese page your can see more of the production.

Enjoy!

Damn...there's a silly amount of drool on my keyboard now after flicking through those links Frithjof.  Thats an incredible account of an immaculately fabricated piece.  Some amazing craftsmanship in a model like that for sure.  Makes me very envious of the patience and thought that goes into the actual process of turning flat metal stock into such a beautiful object.

Kind of makes rapid prototyping feel really lazy doesn't it!! ;)

Thanks for the link...I'll be back there for another browse afew times I think.

Cheers,
Dan

Yes it does. Now I shall turn over in the hammock and dream about models...of some type!

Thankfully though, Dave, or whoever painted it, knew what the hell they were doing with the painting, and did a lovely job.
