Hi friends.

Some work has been done.
Now that almost all the "dead" stuff has been done, It's time to work on the "green" thingies.

And some of the other future details of the vignette :

Thanks for looking.  :)

Hi Alexandre

I am a great admirer of your "scruffy-style". This reminds me of certain pictures I found on this site: http://www.dubtown.de.
Great finish with that ground work, and that rust effects on the road sign are simply insane...

With some "green thingies" as in this pic below those blue tiles up there will be a good contrast to the mainly gloomy scene.

Very well done!
Peter

Thanks friends.
Chuck : Thank you so much for looking Maestro.

Peter : Very funny and great you show this. First because my scene is directly inspired by Pripyat, Ukraine. (which is where your dodgem car picture's been taken)
Second because the Dodgem car scene is the one Gordon (GFadvance) have to built. We (Gordon, Marc and I) shared dozens of pictures about that subject in the past months.  :)

Scruffy, I had to search for the translation, and yes, it's exactly the word I needed. This sums-up perfectly what I'm trying to achieve in my different projects.
Thank you very much.

The moss and green stuff is coming, let's hope before the next week.

By the way : The sign says "Pool n°3" in Russian. This is directly inspired (but a freelance design though) by the Azure Swimming Pool of Pripyat.
EDIT : In Russian, even if we're located in Ukraine. Because as some of you may know, USSR tried to erase local languages within its frontiers. So except some Far-east Republics, Every official building got Russian inscriptions instead of their local counterparts.

Thank you very much guys.
Some work on the green stuff.
It doesn't look totally right in this ultra close-up, but it's OK at standard eye sight.

Alexandre,
I am absolutely amazed by the depth of the dead leaves and the moss.
Excellent work!
