Helmut,

QuoteI once would have a whole lot of fish canned food.
Whether that would be me then and still taste like it.

Take a cat.  ;D
Hi Jacq,

great idea but I have no cat.
But my dog likes to eat cats.
But my dog gets a little better as canned fish to eat.

But an even better idea Jacq, do you use for your next project the scale of 1: 22.5 then I eat more fish and can supply you.

But what if the fish are 1:1 scale? I'll bet you never considered that .... -- Russ

Although not as precision as your work I have had good luck with annealed .010 bras sheet for forming. The diameter for the dimple at its base is .250" with a depth of .1875".

Before the fish now also corrupts and even starts to smell, I think I should better build on.

So I got down to the travel direction selector lever.

The lever is made of 0.2 mm spring hard stainless steel sheet.
The first challenge was the 0.3 mm hole.

What came with this 0.3 mm drill.

On the travel switch, I have the travel direction selector lever then soldered easily.

Hello Bill, also an absolutely successful work.
That with the burn out of brass, was then in my Plan B.

Hi Marty,

if it in your model building projects like helping you.

Just please remember the seat is at a scale of 1: 22.5 and has the dimensions of 17.5 x 13.4 mm or 0.688975 x 0.527558 inches.

If so give me an e-mail with your mailing address.

Hydrostat

Helmut,

please can you write some 'how to'? Obviously the base plate is cnc milled, but how did you make the crossed cutting in the tubing? Doesn't look like handmade ...

Volker
I'll make it. If I have to fly the five feet like a birdie.
I'll fly it. I'll make it.

Hello Volker,

I am pleased with your question and möhte they also like to answer.

Parts and tools for the seat frame production.
Since there is no extra-thin-walled tube, I drilled a 2.5mm tube with an extra long 2 mm drill.
So I could make the double tube for the seat frame.
Thus, it holds better and was more stable, have I gotten support angle in the pipe.
These had to cross two slits are cut into the pipe.

In addition I have taken a brass block and centrally drilled a 2.5 mm hole through.
So that the pipe I have not twisted when cutting a 1.6 mm hole drilled in the side of the block to the middle and cut M2 threaded into it.
With an M2 grub screw the tube can now be held during sawing.

Now just need the slots are cut crosswise on the table saw with a thin blade.

The result of the BBA cab.

Thanks for the extra instructions. Some of these techniques can be useful even for us who model in styrene.
