Awesome piece of work! The number of nuts/bolts is astounding.

Stocks of nuts /bolts are at an all time low - nearly finished now - and no it has not caught fire at the front just painted back of radiator and timing covers before assemble of rad' to chassis

Amazing how much difference a little paint makes, even if it's just a primer coat. It suddenly goes from being a very complex, incredible model; to a very complex, incredible piece of machinery!

Well, I suppose it's a fairly satisfactory model. I guess a gold medal wouldn't hurt.
