   My name is Dmitry Kudryashov. I live in the suburb of St. Petersburg - what is in Russia. Once long ago, last century (at school, more than 30 years ago) I learned English. However on it I practically had no practice of communication. In a type of it, for the translation of the messages from Russian into English I will resort to the help of an online translator of PROMT - in advance I apologize for mistakes and inaccuracies which will arise because of it...  

   I have no experience of construction of models yet, but nevertheless when what began with!

I have no structure for the conceived railroad in a garden yet. That only thing I did not "get" that wanted to buy from PIKO (approached on subject), and with present exchange rate to ruble more narrow and does not cause larger enthusiasm.
It is necessary to go "some other way" - other than acquisition. For a priming, tutoring the sentry lodge was chosen. Earlier, in the Russian Empire, the different railroads were constructed by sentry houses on characteristic projects which often happened standard to all lines of the concrete railroad. On some it is possible even to find drawings in the albums of the executive drawings released after construction of the line.

For a prototype the lineman house Saint Petersburg–Warsaw Railway was chosen:

In view of lack of drawings at me by this railroad, it was begun with natural measurements and "drawing" of a 3D model by means of the SketchUp program is more narrow on them:

For a variety of reasons, scale 1:25 was chosen.

Because of a problem with walls, construction began with a roof:

Manufacture of rafter farms (all them there will be 4 pieces).
The bilateral adhesive tape serves for fixing of preparations at assembly (gluing together) of rafter farms.

In parallel/incidentally the estate is under construction.
Construction of "estate" as it often occurs in Russia, is begun with a fence, more precisely - in terms of a century before last - with palisade :

As the model will be established outdoors, is planned to make impregnation of elements means of Pinotex Wood&Terrace Oil c use of the "homebrew" vacuum pump.

If I correctly understood a question of a source (origin) of timber, then the answer such:
  I buy dry laths (batten) from coniferous breeds of a tree in DIY-shops and I saw them by means of Bench circular saw PROXXON KS 230.

...  I got a good laugh out of the use of a shoelace as a clamp in the photo of the roof assembly ...

It was the closest string which appeared "near at hand".

As well as the presents, sheets connect in "pictures" a lying fold. In view of a mesh size of a fold, "picture" follow-up are slightly soldered (on a photo - the joint is missed the mark with rosin and solder pieces are spread out):
