Found an alternative to Mr Muscle oven cleaner - purchased from Poundland stores in the UK cost £1:00 Mr Muscle can be anywhere from £3:00 to £4:00
and it does a better job quicker strips plastic chrome and brass in Hours and does not leave as much shiny coating but is easily moved with a soft  brush and warm water

When you only eat cheese & pickled onion sandwiches what do you need an oven for ?

Because they taste better if you make them open faced and grill them to crisp up the pickles.
