Rail and Tie

Thought I would share the development work on this crazy HO scale kit that I have been developing for what seems forever. It has mutated into a monster of a development project that now includes full interior details, lighting, lighting animation, and spans options for 1930's, 1950's, 1970's and present day.  The station / store / residence exists to this day in Salisbury. I will share some of the detail development here.
Cheers!

"Leonard, check it out. I've bought an N Gauge locomotive. Half the size of HO. Look...it fits in my mouth!"

Here are some pop machines for the kit (1:87th scale).  The modern machine is lit by a single LED internally with paper graphics in place. Took a bit of work to design the chassis to give even lighting with no shadowing and a minimized bright spot. 4th time was the charm!

No wonder its development is taking so long. -- Russ

The prototype building is very cool, lots of character. Your details are great, especially that modern Pepsi machine!

Here are the painted interior details. A lot of work for something that will be viewed through windows that are 0.35" wide by 0.5" tall!
