Hello, all -

I want to model a fairly accurate diesel engine, about the size that might have powered a small-to-medium size truck. I have looked (without much success) online for good photos/drawings/plans where the motor is not under the hood or otherwise obscured from view.

This will eventually become part of a small, home-built, backwoods, industrial, narrow gauge locomotive I am planning to build in 1" scale.

All help and links will be gratefully received.

Hi Carlo,

just had a quick look through some of my photo's and found these, some diesel, some petrol. If any catch your eye I have detail shots of most. Hope there is something of use to you.

Thanks, James -

I particularly liked the one shown in DSC_0188 and DSC_0193 (same unit?)
Any more shots of this or similar?
