I was searching for information on some 1:48 (and some ~1:48) cars I purchased off of eBay .. intention is to move them from toys to models. While searching .. I ran across this great website totally by accident. Titled American Automobiles it is a source for all of those automobile makes that are long gone and forgotten. I have no idea how many they have on this website but it's quite extensive. It's almost a 'Shorpy' for cars.
